Barefoot Contessa

I am addicted to watching Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network- it's Martha Stewart magazine, except for moms who never have time to sit down and read a magazine, but still want to picture themselves in the Hamptons eating fabulous food at a fabulous dinner party instead of listening to a screaming of the baby- you don't even need to hear the show to see the fabulousness- it works out perfect for me.

The Purpose of this Blog

The purpose of this blog is to remind my husband that he owes me A LOT of Karma Chips, money, and baby-free time. This is because I have let him buy a great many, many expensive guitar accoutrements. I have also allowed him to go to many, many expensive concerts, leaving me at home with our little baby that I GAVE BIRTH TO. (Giving birth alone is enough to make him owe me for a while anyways....)

Austin and I made an agreement that anytime he spends money on something fun, I get the equal amount of money for something fun- in future postings, I will list just exactly how far in the hole my husband is.
